Unlike water-based inks, plastisol-based EPIC Rio ink does not dry in screens during production, and can also be left in screens overnight, saving printers’ time on clean-up and set-up during shift changes.

These new inks will allow textile screen printers to improve opacity and really up their game on color design because the increased color accuracy and strength add a significant ‘wow’ factor.” 

While color can be created with ink that is pre-mixed or formulated with ink mixing systems, the substrate will always challenge the true weakness in all inks -- opacity. This is generally due to pigment strength and color formulas for each mix. This makes for a quicker set-up and approval.
