Dyneema® began as an ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMPE fiber). Other Dyneema® form factors include Dyneema® Fiber and Dyneema® Fabric. Bio-based Dyneema® has a carbon footprint that is up to 90% lower than alternative materials and boasts the same performance as conventional Dyneema®.
