TPE materials are quantified based on Shore hardness, which is a material’s resistance to indenture on a 6.3-
mm minimum thickness molded plaque (ASTM D2240).
The TPE compounds developed at GLS bridge the gap of the above chemistries and offer solutions to
customers with adhesion requirements for substrates ranging from Polypropylene to Polyamide which represent
the opposite spectrum of polarity.
