SPECIALTY
COMPOUNDS
Value-added solutions include:
RADIATION CROSS-LINKABLE
COMPOUNDS
By blending a combination of special additives, high-
temperature functional compounds can be cross-
linked when exposed to electron beam radiation.
Importantly, this solution is manufactured
without intentionally added fluoropolymers,
fluoroelastomers, or any other pre- and poly-
fluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), supporting
customer’s sustainability goals and regulatory
compliance by offering an alternative to
intentionally added PFAS materials.
Laser
marking additives are added to polymers, such
as fluoropolymers, that do not readily absorb the
wavelength of laser light.

SPECIALTY PACKAGING SOLUTIONS
ADD WEIGHT AND AESTHETICS
TO YOUR LUXURY PACKAGING
CLOSURE DESIGNS WITH DENSITY
MODIFIED FORMULATIONS
Consumers of luxury cosmetics and spirits tend to perceive added value from packaging that incorporates
weight, aesthetics, and visual surface effects into the design.
Add weight while simplifying your processing
steps – Simplify your manufacturing process by
injection molding a weighted, finished part in one
step rather than adding a metal weight.
Reduce the number of parts – By injection molding
Gravi-Tech material, you will no longer need to
assemble multiple parts to achieve added weight.

KEY CHARACTERISTICS
• Excellent lot-to-lot and within-lot consistency for
high-quality homogeneous black shades
• Easy processing and support of a long-lasting
spin pack lifetime
• Fastness properties and specification tolerances
on par with high-end products on the market
• Standard and bluish undertones available
in high pigment loadings for an efficient and
competitive coloration package
• Can be combined with additives into a single
combination concentrate for convenience
• Compliance with global, regional, and local
standards and regulations*
RECOMMENDED USE
• In most cases, the concentrate is added
directly to the resin using gravimetric or
volumetric dosing units; for some processes,
the concentrate can be added via a side stream
extruder (direct spinning)
• The recommended dosages are from 3% for
the typical automotive, technical, and carpet
applications and up to 6% for apparel, footwear,
and home textile yarns

Adding an anti-fog solution
to a film recipe delivers value to brand owners
and film manufacturers in multiple ways:
Reduces operating cost: Anti-fog additives are
a drop-in solution.
Using OnCap anti-fog solutions is as
simple as adding it to the resin at a production
line’s feeder.

Beyond applicators, TPEs in packaging can be used
to communicate an upscale message for premium
products, or they can emphasize enhancements or
value-added features for everyday products.
Most
packaging doesn’t take advantage of the sense
of touch to make that connection, so adding
color and texture with soft touch materials
can help your package stand out from the
competition on store shelves.
