Artisan™ Pre-Colored Thermoplastics High-Gloss Nylon (PA6) Formulations High-performing, durable products are at the forefront of consumer demands.

These PA6-based Nymax REC formulations contain between 20 and 100 percent recycled content from registered sources approved by the European Union regulation for Registration, Evaluation, Authorization, and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH), such as recycled textiles.

This expands the product line that launched earlier this year with PA6 resin derived from reclaimed end-of-life fishing nets. 

When compared to alternatives during standard testing, these materials can help reduce carbon footprint over the product lifecycle, producing 61% less CO₂ than PA66, 46% less than PA6, and 30% less than POM.

Targeted at products for the consumer market, Artisan™ nylon (PA6) is the first material in a series of high-gloss, scratch-resistant pre-colored thermoplastics formulated to replace paint.

The portfolio includes typical glow hues like yellowish green, blue, blue-green, aqua, and violet for a wide range of polymers, including PP, ABS, PC co-polyester, PA6, PA66, and PA12.
