New Avient ColorWorks™ Design Center Opens Near Mexico City

Avient announces its newest ColorWorks™ Design Center in Mexico City to help foster inspiration for the polymer industry through color and trend consultation.

MEXICO CITY – July 22, 2024 – Avient Corporation, a premier provider of specialized and sustainable materials solutions and services, today announced the opening of a new ColorWorks™ Design & Technology Center in the Mexico City area. The new center, which strengthens Avient’s ability to offer color design services to customers in the Latin America (LATAM) region, will complement an existing ColorWorks facility in Itupeva, São Paulo, Brazil.  

The ColorWorks Design & Technology Centers are a source of ideas, inspiration, and technical guidance for plastic applications. Avient customers can work directly with ColorWorks teams in the early stages of product development to help shorten their time to market, control costs, and manage color consistently across the globe.  

“With the addition of our Mexico site, we will be more accessible to customers in the Mexico and Central America regions and as a result, offer more opportunities for onsite collaboration to help streamline product development,” said Allan Bojorge, General Manager, North LATAM at Avient.  

As with all Avient ColorWorks facilities, the new location will offer Color, Material, and Finish (CMF) trend consultation, in-person or virtual color development, rapid prototyping, and more. In addition to the two sites in Latin America, the company has four additional locations worldwide, including Merate (Italy), Singapore, and United States sites in West Chicago, Illinois, and Phoenix, Arizona.
